Just when I think I’ve seen every version of the numa numa meme, I find that someone Legoized it…2 years ago! Which leads me to the question, when you cram internet memes together into one bloody train wreck (because let’s face it, even Legos can’t make numa numa funny anymore)…well, I forgot my question, but I’m sure it had to do with the implosion of the internet.
I spent most of this morning surfing YouTube and reading blogs I found on Bored At Work because, you guessed it, I’m bored at work. Actually, we didn’t get a shipment last week because of some holiday, so I’m killing time time until the next shipment comes in. You wouldn’t think that a blog about Things Younger than McCain would be all that funny, but it is. Hilarious, in fact.
I remember wasting away entire shifts reading BAW links when I worked in reference. Weeks worth of shifts. It’s so easy to get caught up reading one blog all the way through or reading one particularly funny article on Ubersite and then clicking another and another until it’s closing time. I wasted a lot of time up there. I waste a lot of time now. I’m getting old and I can’t keep doing things the way I’ve always done forever.
